Over 24 years of professional experience, I have built a journey defined by an ongoing pursuit of knowledge, dedication to patients and a commitment to evidence-based physical therapy.
Today, my work is shared between specialized clinical practice, the training of healthcare professionals and active participation in scientific and academic life.
My purpose has remained the same from day one:
To help more people access excellent care, and to empower more professionals to feel prepared to transform lives through their clinical practice.
My story
A path built with perseverance and purpose.
Physical therapy came into my life through a simple desire: to help people.
During my academic training I faced challenges that demanded effort, discipline and determination. They were years of intense work, sustained by the conviction that knowledge would always be the way to create impact in others' lives.
Shortly after graduating, an opportunity emerged that would deeply transform my professional trajectory.
I was selected for a specialization program at Brazil's National Cancer Institute.
It was in that environment of high technical and human demand that I discovered oncology and learned one of the most important lessons of my career.
Technique is essential.
But true excellence happens when knowledge meets empathy.
The patients I cared for, the professionals I learned from and the experiences I lived through shaped the way I see physical therapy to this day.
Working philosophy
The person always comes first.
I believe that treating a clinical condition is not enough.
We must understand the person — their goals, fears, habits and the context they live in.
Every treatment plan should be built individually, respecting what truly makes sense for the person seeking help.
Science guides every decision.
But listening, respect and the therapeutic relationship are equally essential to achieve consistent, lasting results.
